4.5k shifts with 750i

I think short shifting is 6k. I guess 4.5k is shorter shifting. But that's me.
Even with highway driving in the mix I only get 15.5mpg at best.

When resetting the CBS make sure the parking brake is not engaged.
I'm not sure if that's true for the front brakes, but it's true for the rears.

What is the mileage?
This would get you minimum of 2 oil changes. Or one change every 10k miles. Figure that's worth $200 each one....

It was not a 'warranty purchase' from previous owner.

Seems reasonable.
At least they just don't want to throw a band-aid style repair...

The rear air spring is ~$1300 from BMW parts store that discounts.
Full list is $1800
I can't imagine its more than 5-6 hour job, plus any reprogramming...
