Which master cylinder to buy?

It's looking like I may need a new master cylinder for my 1989 325i. My shop says a new one will cost around $350 plus labor, but I've found several online at prices ranging from $96 to $308....

Unhappy e30 fuel pump relay?

Since the relays in my 1989 325i appear to be factory originals, I want to begin replacing them over time as a preventive measure.

Car is running now!

I'm not sure what the problem actually was. At first, I dived in rather chaotically, removing the fuel pump before determining there was no fuel at the injector rail, and replacing some really old...

Unhappy 1989 325i won't start/dies after 1 or 2 seconds.

My 325 was running fine although the past few days it seemed like it was taking a bit longer to start. Starter was spinning fine. Drove car a few miles, put some gas in it, check all fluids and did...

replacing rear bumper cover: oem

After a minor accident, my rear (factory plastic) bumper was cracked. I ordered a new bumper cover and trim pieces from the dealer. Their part number and Bavarian Autosport's number matched, as did...

Thanks for the advice! I decided to let a shop do it. It cost me but I got a few other things checked while it was on the lift. Some things I'll attempt, but the wheel bearings looked like they could...

Rear wheel bearing replacement?

I've read the horror stories about replacing e30 rear wheel bearings: I can't afford the special tool and I'm worried that trying to do the job without it will result in me eventually towing the car...

Odds are the only thing the inspection center checked were the control arm bushings and the ball joints. The shop should have told you what was needed rather than just saying "all the bushings". If...

My gauge always reads wrong! It also does the trick of the needle bouncing from empty to half full, regardless of the fuel level. I figured it's the sending unit, but since the car has two, how can I...

Not sure if it will make any difference, but the belt...
