Close in performance - (0-60 Tesla supposedly is faster). If range is not an issue - the model S is a cool and fast car. Seems a bit expensive for what you get. Even after $7500 Obama rebate it...

As compared to an M3 without the comp package? I have decent roads on my commute - but a harsh suspension can get old after a while. Sort of like a droning exhaust note. Not a frequent track...

I truly love BMW at a car manufacturer - but at some point it will no longer be acceptable to provide poor reliability relative to their peers. Customer service is so-so at best as well. C'mon BMW...
