Yep, a six inch socket extension thru the unfastened handle and they popped out easily.

New Bosch plugs, and two new gaskets on the sides of the oil filter housing. My cost $120. Indy cost $700....

Anyone here flat tow an X3 behind a motorhome? Does someone make a drive shaft decoupler or can the transmission handle in it neutral? (Which would surprise me mightily).
