dont buy a 22mm open ender, look down from above you should see the nut for the `inner` ball joint.
hire or borrow a 22mm socket and long ext bar...... you`ll get the nuts off in 2 mins this way...

Don`t know if anyone has mentioned it, but the two inner ball joints are easily reached from above with a long extension bar and a 22mm socket. Pref a swivel socket if you have one.

Hi, just fitted two new lower control arms to our 2000 318i e46.
The hardest part was jacking up the car and getting myself up off the floor.. ha.

Hi, just upgraded my wifes 2000 318i e46 to a 2005 model.

about the same time the a/c on the 2000 model began blowing warm air out of the centre vent but the side vents were cooler. thinking it...

hi, I priced up that tool, like everything else here in Australia the price is ridiculous, Almost $200 with postage. Probably only cost about$100 to have reset, I`ll check that out tomorrow
