Just tried pushing the switch manually, and it locks while i'm holding it down but the hood will not push it down all the way, even after bending it. Guess I'll have to add some washers here soon....

Keyless entry

I recently picked up a 98 323is and the keyless entry is not working. When I hit either button, it chirps, but does not lock/unlock the doors. Any suggestions as to why it won't lock/unlock?
