A TPS reports to two things, an ECM and TCM. Is it possible one side has gone bad on an E34, or it not even work like that on this car?
I literally had one side of the TPS on my Jeep go bad...

A fluid service can't hurt, many people overlook it and do not ever change the fluid, and it does wear out over time.

See how things work out, MSD has offered one up. Will take you 5min to swap it out with a good used one.

EWS is not the security system, it is completely different than the system under the rear seat, and is not optional. EVERY E34 after 01/95 have the second gen system. It is a good start for later...

Overuse and heating up of the brakes with rapid cooling and heating cycles, cheap rotors, and ones that are too thin all can cause this.
Just replace the rotors or have them...

The heater valves and the aux water pump can leak.

The Aux water pump just needs to be taken out and some RTV(silicone gasket maker) used to make a gasket in-between the two halves of the intake...

Two most common issues are CPS and Fuel pump.
BUT on a 95 a common issue is...

M60's have an issue with dropping the oil pump bolts out, there are 3. One day I'm going to drop my pan, one day.
But seriously something to check out.
