Some design differences, I'm sure. Could be pressure or capacity or line diameter. Stick with the correct one unless you want to redesign your braking system and its effectiveness.

Change the sensor, clean the area very thoroughly, and watch for more leakage. The oil is under pressure at the sensor, so maybe there was a small hole causing it to spray upward.:dunno:

You can get them for less than $240, maybe alot less if you shop around. I bought mine for $138 about 2 1/2 years ago. It's one part of the cooling system you don't want to skimp on.
