Do they re-align when a new car is delivered?

It could also be in shipping they tie down the cars at the wheels and tighten the tie downs to much?

I have this supposed issue also.

I'm not sure if its an alignment issue or not but was there day one on my 335is. It does seem to pull to the left BUT.. its subjective to the road since some roads crown or the tires rail.

I have...

My wife is afraid to drive mine.

My E46 she wanted to drive it and gave me a nice curb rash one time and gave me grief that she owned the car to and I had to cross my finger when she took it out.

The new one with the front...

Keep in mind...

New tires are slick and take time to break in. I'm around 2500 miles and I'd say the tires were finally gripping well at 2k.

So slick tires on top of DSC, you'll lose some.

Yeah because most Porsche owners don't drive their cars.

I'm sure there are some that track their cars but most I know of they are trophies, just sitting in the garage.

Also most are on the road because owners can afford the upkeep.

Uh you said the 335is was a marketing ploy.

Your statement applies to the entire M line. Also the M kit.

The 335is is a 335i with the M kit and a upped version of the BMW Performance Kit for a cheaper price than buying them seperately. ...

The 335is is an enthusiast car and BMW said that from the beginning and likely a direct result of past statements to reduce aftermarket modifications and likely the impact on warranty repairs.

BMW doesn't live on the "M" money. They live on the 3 series which affords them to build the M.

The reality from BMW is that they stated that most people want a 328 for the pricing and willing...

What did you end up paying?

Just saw you picked up the M3, congrats..can't go wrong. When I priced out an M3 compared to my 335is, the 335is came out to <$54 and the M3 was $65. Not sure if the base radio on the M3 = HK but...

The M3 was over the top for me.

I wanted to limit to <$55k max and the M3 was just way over the top for me in the high sixties plus the gas tax, higher insurance, and property taxes I have to pay in my city. Also more difficult to...

Took me a week to push the button

Did a crazy highway sprint going from 60 to 120. Without much effort in passing its to easy to go from 60-90. I had to setup a speed warning at 75. Now its annoyingly dinging at me all the time. ...

There is no versus...get what you can afford and like better

Its like saying pear, apple, or orange. Pick one, different shape and flavor.

A 328 is not a 335i is not a 335i with M is not a 335is is not a M3.

The 335is has the M sport body kit but a...

335is has a different exhaust

The 335is has an exhaust valve/flap to control the sound level and the performance exhaust doesn't. Also BMW removed some of the packing material on the 335is.

Kinda wish I got 19"s

I have a black on black 335is on the way. Just couldn't keep adding on options, maxing out my budget.

The 19's are nice but I'm not sure considering the road conditions where I live, maybe 18's...

Just go to truecar.com to get a real idea of the price. An M3 convertible is not within the ballpark of a 335is convertible. If your complaining about not cheap for $67k then you can forget about...

This is planned. Also looked at it this way.

The people that want stick have been penalizing automatics. BMW wanted to make all cars automatic five plus years ago. If everyone had an automatic, they realized it would be cheaper to produce...

I ordered on 01/03 and dealer said there is no problem extending the Holiday credit as the dealer and BMWFS would not do that to allow you to order something and not honor it. Either way the...

I think you got bumped

I know sometimes dealers place blind orders and hold them in queue. They will pull orders and then customize. Sometimes they take someone else's order for someone who wants it sooner.

Also there...

I opted for the conv package

From experience, the rear seats get hot in summer. If you have a rear seat passenger like my kid, then rear sunshade is needed. Definitely parking distance is a good thing these days. On my 335is...

I'm a month away from getting my 335is

Wow, lots of questions.

There is no such car as a 335is M Sport. There is a 335is or a 335i with a M-sport option.

Q1. The 335is comes with an "is" version of the M Sport package but includes blacked out trim and...

Post I saw the show yesterday.

I have a 335is on order. Correct me if I'm wrong, they said their best time was 0-60 in 4.7! :smokin:

Overall basically they said the exhaust makes the car and a M3 is 10k more and the 335is cost...

I have the answer to my own question and you can combine

There is the $1500 holiday customer credit as per BMWUSA's site per model and then there is a free automatic tranny depending on the model or free AWD credit, see below. So if I'm looking at a 335is...

BMW 2 Incentives for 2011. Which ones can I get?

I'm looking at a 335is and see I can get a free double-clutch tranny. I assume I can get the $1500 holiday credit also. Are there two or more?

I found other incentives and I'm not sure which I...
