There are a lot of ebay stores but they are thousand miles from here.

Just got my all 4 corners set of Zimmerman rotors. They look great.
My question is should I use a razor blade to scrape away the brake pad

8 years of soccer Mom driving in Dallas summers.
180K miles. All 6 Bosch and plugs also.
Runs like a dream, idles so smooth I look at the tach....

Mine suck, might be gunky like yours.
If it is any louder with the cleaning, might be worth it.

The original works fine, if you remove it and check (clean out) the goo in there.
I used solvent and stiff wire....

problem seems to be a 2000 528 or 540.
Mine does the same thing. The cutoff is 39 degrees.

I did a cooling system at the same time, so the intake was off.
Mine was very brittle. Just touching it caused a crumble.

With the intake off, it was very easy....

SOLUTION.... check ALL ground wires AND tighten battery terminals.

I can either restart the car a few minutes later and it will remain extinguished.
