If bulb or lense assembly is loose and can vibrate, bulb will have short life.

I disagree. I've been cutting rotors on my cars for 40 years and have never regretted it. BMW's TIS says after rotors have been machined to min. thk. they are good for one more set of pads.

A bad brake booster will cause high pedal effort, it won't cause pedal to go to floor. Replace your brake master cylinder, it is leaking internally.
