Yes, they actually changed the shock design in 2011. The ride isn't as smooth as the current F32, but it's better than earlier E92s. The LCI for the coupe (what I'm talking about) was in 2011; the...

In town I'll get maybe 23 mpg; on the highway, around 27-28 mpg. The best I've ever done is 30 mpg. The only time I'm in Sport mode is when I'm merging onto the highway.

Not all M Sports have the increased speed limiter. If you bought a 2011 xDrive and went with the standard All Season tires, you have the standard speed limiter. The All Season tires don't have as...

That's what I did with my 535 (Ultimate Mats from Bavarian Autosport) and it works very well. The black mats look classy without making the interior too busy.

On the E92 LCI, BMW switched to much cleaner brake pads. I have virtually no brake dust. Maybe BMW continued that with the F30.

As noted above, you'll see this behavior in tablets, so it's normal for the technology. However, my guess is this behavior is is more prevalent in the F30 (iPad-like on the dash) vs. the E90 (hooded...

I installed Koni FSDs on my 2011 xDrive E92 and saw an improvement. Not perfect, but the BOOM was gone. The 2011 is the LCI (mid-model refresh) version, in which BMW improved the suspension somewhat...
