I had exactly the same issue of stalling. It was the cam shaft sensor and it was replaced. Car works perfectly now. I understand there are two sensors. There are lots of You Tube videos on how to fix.

I had many of the same issues with my previous E70 diesel so the dealer took it back and wife made sure I did not buy another diesel. She drives the F15 now and loves it!!

It is a pre-2002 model - just look at the turn signal light on the fender. This one is rectangular and lower on the fender. From 2002 it was changed to higher on the fender and more "dart-like".

I have used in the past for rubber seals - Aerospace 303 which worked well. More recently I have been using Adams VRD. I apply it to the seals a few times a year and they still look like new.
