Take pics of the old ones orientation and buy new fuel injection clamps, don't use worm gear clamps! Take your time too, it's straight forward but gas will spill so have a container ready.

Maybe it's the hood alarm sensor? It can be left disconnected but folks have had battery drains and it was the culprit. It's attached to the drivers side cabin filter.

Buy a code reader and go from there to see what the code is. A really good one is a C310, reads abs and srs codes too on BMWs. You can get them for about $40 on ebay.
