2x4 and a big hammer worked for me. Don't be afraid to hit it though. Need to swing hard and rotate the tire after each hit.

Just make sure you keep your maintnance up and your chain will last. I've also seen them run over 200k. Also make sure you let your engine warms up before you run those revs up.
