Thanks, wdaveweaver. I should have put in my original post that I thought the smell could have been from the PS system, but I checked that thoroughly and all of it was dry.

I am happy with my V1. Works well in CT on 95 and 91 thru CT-MA-VT. You still have to keep a sharp eye out, though.

Thanks for the info! I was worried about the whole system dumping out thru the sensor hole. Also, how does one unplug the sensor? Looks like the wire latch flips down, no? Thanks again.
