Browse through all the posts here and you'll see nothing is easy with the eonon unit and the results are horrible. The flaws and defects with this unit are endless from a defective chip that clocks...

Total rewire is the only way that worked for me. But be prepared too be disappointed with many of the eonon features starting with the crappiest tuner and Bluetooth and very buggy navi

Thanks. I don't thinks that's the issue. As far as I can make out from all the other contributions the issue is that (with DSP) the factory amp won't come on and process sound unless it gets a signal...

Have the unit in place, kept factory MID (pending harness extension to relocate in glove box) moved factory radio to the back and made power...

No, radio was in dash in top of MID

I have since had three faulty eonon harness replaced and was able to turn on the eonon unit but still no sound even with the factory radio connected in the back...

Ryan, the number 5 wire in my big amp plug is Brown, not white with yellow

Here are the colors
4 white thin gauge f
5 Brown medium.gauge
8 red and green, thicker gauge
12 Brown, thicker gauge

Well I'm throwing in the towel! I now own a EONON, made in China $400 door stop made to look just like a car stereo.

After numerous attempts and rechecks of all the connections that piece of crap...
