Depends on what sort of a trip you're looking for and how much time you're wanting to spend in Como. We stopped in Lucerne and it broke up the drive nicely but there are better places in Switzerland.

Stop over in Mulhouse and visit the old Schlumpf collection at the Cite' De L'Automobile. If you're a car guy it's an absolute must see.
It's also about half way to Paris.

Many many owners take delivery of repaired cars never knowing.
Assuming that the repair is done well there's nothing to worry about.

We drove from Munich to Paris in two days stopping in Alsace to see the Musee' D'Automobile Nationale. It's the old Sclumpf Collection and if you're an old car buff it shouldn't be missed.
