Just replace the new FRM3 and use the expert mode...

Just replace the new FRM3 and use the expert mode to code the FRM3.

If you bought the used FRM3 then you need to write the VIN using NCS Expert or Tools32 first then code the module with expert...

If you activate the code to turn off the power for radio and idrive then it would shut the power for all accessories. It is not possible.

I don't if it is true but I read somewhere you have to bring your X5 in to get the EVP. Shipping your keyfob won't work anymore.

You can disable the steering wheel motion by coding. So you don't have to worry about replacing them. I have disabled the steering wheel motion on my E70.
