Some one was VERY careless in handling hat radiator. Probably ok and you can use a pick or similar to carefully straighten the fins. no need to be too obsessive, just clean it up a bit.

In my opinion there is nothing wrong using WalMart brand Super Tech full synthetic oil. I've used it for years in turbo and non turbo engines with no problems.

Well I blew it ! Was going to replace my radiator - 94, 325i , 91,000 miles this summer but just didn't get to it yet and bang the top radiator hose connection broke while on the road with the wife....
