I agree with you. One does need to have a lower expectation with these X5's than with say a Honda or Toyota. As long as one realizes that, and has the PPI, then it's worth it.

Strongly recommend that get PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) done. You will not be able to do a decent inspection yourself.

X5M, X6M, X6 have front wheel bore of 74mm. Rear is 72.5mm

So you cannot put the 333 M wheels on your X5 without having the rears bored out. ...
