I got the tc from torqueconverter1 for $300...

I got the tc from torqueconverter1 for $300 shipped. Paid my Indy in nyc $500 for labor.

You may want to consider replacing rear main seal while you are in there.

Living in Nyc, extreme hot and cold has definitely contributed to shorter life spans of the rubbers and plastics in my E39 .
