You should get a second person to pull the hood release lever in the car while you watch the mechanism up front. See if the cable moves at all. If yes, try lubricating. If no, still try lubricating....

Plug your VIN number into the realoem.com site, navigate to the steering section, it will show you the diagram and parts for your car. if your car is RHD, that's what you'll get.

i found it to be pretty straight forward. Drilling the holes in the white plastic to expose the screws was somewhat nerve-racking while doing it, but it worked out great. I used the scotch tape...

I see you flipped the fan over, making it into a "pusher", without flipping the fan blade...

I'm not getting vacuum to the valve on the ehaust manifold to activate it.
