I was able to fix my E60s sensor by removing it and cleaning it. Once reinstalled, it has worked fine for years.

I'm not sure how this would translate to an E46 sensor but it may be very similar....

Thanks. Do you try and remove the inside first and then outside or vice versa? Do you have to remove the window to remove the window regulator? I don't think you do on the 3 Series E90.

BMW cars are normally set up with negative camber in the rear. You can tell because the top of the tires tilt inward at the top vs. bottom. This helps with handling but not with tire wear.

Thanks for your post. I'm glad someone is confirming what I'm seeing. I've tried the tranny reset in the past but really didn't notice much change. I do seem to notice my issue more in the hills.
