Just to help rule-out a blown head gasket, take a look at your oil dipstick and make sure it's not milky-brown.

If it's good/clean oil, there's a good chance you're OK, but sometimes the reverse...

If you engage the turn signal either left or right, the corresponding 'parking/running' light will illuminate. It's a safety feature if you're parked on an unlit street with limited width/clearance...
