No...the beauty of the auto IHKA is that you can set it and forget it for most of the year. The IHKA control panel will do what it takes to get the cabin to the TEMP you have set if you have both...

Ditto....I bet one or both of your trunks buffer stops w/ejector button is either stuck or needs adjustment. There is one on each side of the trunk lid...and looks similar to the one in the pic...
