That and sometimes the hoses for the cooling system.

All of that boils down to replacing...

I'd say if you do a 7500 mile oil change interval, it's not going to make any real difference, this or any good synthetic really. Differences come into play when you get to extreme oil change...

Less efficient--parasitic power loss from the engine to directly spin the turbine via crankshaft--than a well-sorted turbo but...
