Its interesting you mentioned polishing, because I used a headlight restoration polish (3m) and it helped with the blurriness until the lens fell off..

Its no secret the design of the front sideview cameras are an epic fail. if it isn't the blurriness, the lens cap keeps coming off and just had to order yet again another camera.
