I am thinking the A/C issue is the capacitor and totally separate from the coolant leak issue. I am going to have it towed to a tech soon. I need a better tech as my former is a twit.

We discussed that idea, and dismissed it. Too risky to get a used tranny, dont want to take the chance it goes bad a month after I buy it.

Tech says the AT fluid leaked into the coolant, and the coolant in turn leaked into the transmission cooler, thus causing the sludge in the radiator...

Well...bad news just in. Tech says the torq converter is bad (Need rebuild entire trans, according to him), PLUS, need to replace the trans oil cooler system too. I have not had time yet...

Opened cap, saw mostly water, with oil-like remnants...

Catso: I really doubt $3500 is near reasonable, given the no reverse, ABS & Airbag sensor issues. The prospective buyer would take it to a tech to get it looked over and be informed of these costs....
