There is more to this swap than just the hardware. The ECU and a couple of more modules must have their programming changed. Programming the ECU will be problematic and expensive.

I personally would lubricate the front latch fingers (on the softtop) and rollers on the top of the windscreen. Then I would lubricate the hinge points on the top.

Lets try the simple stuff first...
