I hope that is a center nut you removed, rather than a bolt. Maybe you ae not 'deep' enough into the unit to remove the wheel at the moment. Maybe post a pix.

BMW use single filement globes for all functions, not multi (5/21) style. Don't give yourself 21w park lights, you WILL burn out the holder and reflector.

Not running fuel pump is a symptom, not always a cuse of non start. I would question whether you have a spark. If no spark then also no injector opening - so it won't start. CPS for starters.

Water would have to be deep and pressurised to get past the seals (unless they were bad any way). Could be brake components - foot or parking.

If you just want to make it run - cross wire the relay under the bonnet (ok - hood). Anti theft device - do it under the dash or bonnet. Much shorter wires and easier to run them in.
