I hate the design they put in the e36, should have kept the fail safe one they had in the E30. Simple and easy. Could have concealed the spot better but most did not ecen know it was there.

I bought new oem after hearing horror stories...

I bought new oem after hearing horror stories years back about these. Have not heard any in maybe 3 years but OEM's are roughly the same cost and have a two year warranty.

This one is being built out in Washington state. There have been many built in the last 10 years so replicas are more common than real deals. In the tristate are of NJ/NY/CT I know of 5 real ones....

Well the fact you can legally import an E30 M3 convertible now, I'd say less. Is this an e30 with proper fenders and suspension or just an e30 with a S14 engine installed?

I used to use GTX some years ago but it was giving me varnish build ups in another manufacturer, I changed to Valvoline and it went away. Not saying that it's bad oil bit I have not used it in 30...
