FWIW, My '10 335D was in for both NOX sensor replacement. The SA said that the retail cost was around $2500. Because I only have 51k, BMW did a Good Will repair and covered 85%.

Found Fault Code 4D16 (Thanks Alpha Papp) - Replace NOX Sensors before and after SCR Cat Converter;
System Failed - needs Catalytic Converter.... Back Ordered from Germany.
