Both. The brake pad wear sensor feeds through the caliper and clips into a brake pad. The speed sensor mounts to a location inboard of the brakes and is mounted to the knuckle with a screw.

Unfortunately, replacement rockers won't last nearly as long as the originals in the rust environment. We did this on an E36, but only got another two years before again, you couldn't even jack it...
