You're right. Reseal the vapor barriers and you should be fine. Stupid design flaw. My go every three years like clockwork. I get worried every time the car is out in the rain.

+1 on the cooling system. Do your plugs at 75,000. Oil every 7,500, religiously. Keep some cash around and figure $1,500-$2,000 per year to keep it running in top form. It's a great car. Enjoy!
