As a point of reference, my latest oil/filter change cost me $90 at BMW of Morristown. Look for specials and dealer service for some items don't cost as much as you'd expect.

stock staggered setup. sidewall feel is fine for street driving, on track I am used to r-comps, so it takes a while for the car to take a set, but once it does, i didn't notice any issues with grip....

Got them on my 540 last august. very impressed...

Got them on my 540 last august. very impressed with them. even drove them on the track once! one of them had a puncture and was damaged but tirerack/conti replaced it for no charge. Recommended!

anyone can go fast in a straight line. fastest cornering speed is more interesting. depends a lot more on how much speed you enter with, how you balance the car through the turn etc. practice on...

actually, slotted/drilled are even worse for track applications. drilled reduces the thermal effectiveness of the rotor. stick to blank rotors unless you want it to look bling. modern pads do not...
