I can buy a complete drive shaft salvaged for 150$ with 71,000 miles on it. Is it worth it? Or should I replace the rear and pay the big bucks for a new one?

Drive shaft bearing was bad. I had it replaced less than three thousands miles ago. (97 4 cyl. Manual). It is doing the same thing again. Is there something else that would make this part fail...
