Even GPS units have become so common that thieves won't bother smash and grab for them either. Just keep your car locked at all times, even in your driveway.

Glad you weren't hurt. I had the same thing happen to me when I was driving a dealer's loaner car. A deer busted the passenger mirror off. They weren't too happy, but it wasn't my problem to fix.

I'm guessing the stock wheels were 8.0 x 18" or 8.5 x 18". All BMW lugs are 5 x 120.

Who says your only options are what Tire rack has to offer? I've had good luck with Craigslist buying my entire winter setup with 1-year-old Blizzaks for $500. There are a lot of deals out there...

ABS sensor or TPMS sensor? The former shouldn't be affected by rims unless they're rubbing against your brakes. More likely, you need the tire pressure sensors that go with your car.
