You almost cannot remove the fuel pump or fuel sending unit without dripping some gas after lifting out of the tank. There is usually some spillage
with any fuel pump removal in my experience...

Nice work, it is crazy how much lighting costs for our cars. I always look for fogs/headlights when I go junking, but they are usually destroyed from front end impact.

Scrap value was around $200 per ton when I talked to a salvage guy awhile back, so you are looking at $400 tops for scrap. Parting out gives more value, no doubt.
