If you get the "recharge battery"message means that the battery is low, start the car and go for a drive, the main battery and the car battery will recharge.

First, why do you want to replace the battery? it recharges when you insert and drive and these are special batteries that need to be soldered to the unit, I would not...

Update: it's fixed! one of the wires at the connector to the motor was not making contact,probably got loose when replacing the unit.

The only issue is when replacing the wipers I wasn't able to...

Could be the Integrated Supply Module (IVM), easy to replace.it's on the passenger side under the cabin air filter. Remove the 6 bolts and unplug the connectors.
