EXPAT have to abide by the rule as do US Military. There is a way around if it's a genuine race car. But has to be non street legal.

Agreed. AAA is cheap vs having to replace a cooked engine or for that matter just having to do a head gasket. AAA gold is 100 miles towing 7 times a year for $85 bucks Cheap insurance.

3.38 is street gear, not uncommon for auto X guys to have a 3.46 in their M's. 3.73 with a 6 spd is a great choice.
