If you want better sound, you need to replace the stereo with an aftermarket head unit. As well as the speakers. I'm using Kenwood 5 1/4 in the front and they are great.

When I had a vacuum leak, it made the car knock. Check all hoses. Mine was the hoses that came off of the MAF boot and went to the front of the intake. There are like 3 hoses there.

If you did plug the MAF back in and DID undo the negative battery cable afterwards, and still got code P0173,then I am willing to bet that code P0170 is "pending". THat is how fuel trim codes work....

It's probably not the o2's cause it is rare they both go bad on both banks(both sides) of the engine. Scan it with the MAF unplugged and then scan it with it plugged in. Make sure to clear the code...

I have had a code P0100 for months now, already replaced MAF sensor twice. Running it now disconnected. What was your problem? was it a bad DME fuse or relay?
