Door button cluster on drivers door sometimes dead

Have an interesting issue where on occasion, I start the car, and the entire window/mirror/shade control for the driver's door won't function at all. All buttons do nothing.

Rick. Dont' freak out too much about the solution you chose. Let's say it lasts 20K miles? well, an oil change from BMW costs $300 or more, and lasts only 5K miles at most.

yes Rick, YES. I point this out in one of my many very unorganized YouTube videos. The penta allen bolt heads MUST DIE and be replaced by reasonable SS allen or other bolts. And shorter is better....

sorry for the late response. This looks fine to me. The hose is the drain that goes back to the fuel tank. Hope your issues are getting better.
