I took the '07 X3 on short test drives and came away with a concern that it may be too loud for long family road trips. Albeit, you have an '05, can you comment on road noise?

We're strongly considering the new X5 3.0 as the next vehicle. With a 2 year old and a new one coming, we need the extra space to haul strollers, groceries, toys, pack and plays, etc.
