ez pass can go anywhere basically. In a former car, I left it in my glovebox a few times by accident and it still worked.

did you try a lens cleaner? This can happen sometimes in the case that it cant read a disc on occasion due to a scratch or flaw in the lens.

Once I turned down the brightness and contrast...

Once I turned down the brightness and contrast the cameras became infinitely more useful. Maybe you can update idrive and get it to work better for you?

I took a 1.5 hr drive with my girlfriend this...

I took a 1.5 hr drive with my girlfriend this past weekend in my x6 50i and was going 78-83 averaging over 20mpg. Amazing.
