Couldn't agree more, especially on the S54 engine with known bearings issue. I've already got data on 2 samples for the TWS 10W60. It would be interesting to see how the RedLine 5W50 compares.

Same here...I never did any maintenance myself until I got my first bimmer. I have never paid more than $100 for an oil change, even with the MC where it uses those expensive $15 TWS oil.

I've replaced my battery twice now. Nothing special needed to be done other than resetting the clock and turning the steering wheel lock to lock to reset a few of the dash lights.

It shouldn't affect performance much. 19" & 20" wasn't an option on the 3.0i, but these are common and desirable upgrades that many of us have. I have staggered 19" on my 3.0 and hadn't noticed...
