There were issues with the passenger's seat...

There were issues with the passenger's seat sensing pad. I had mine replaced under warranty. You might try to get them to replace it for you even past warranty. Have them check past TSB's

What you are seeing with the traction control...

What you are seeing with the traction control light blinking is typical of putting different types of tires on the front vs. the back. Going with one type all around will make a world of difference.

How cold was it? There was an issue with the oil breather (or separator ) freezing up and causing the oil to blow out of the engine as.

Sorry I can't remember the details.. May be some one else...

If that is the original expansion tank, consider replacing it. It probably has a crack, you could save yourself a lot of pain in the future. The plastic expansion tank is a known weakness.

If you don't mind changing the battery, I would do that first, it is low cost and there is a good chance that that is the problem. Especially if it is more than 3 years old.
