BMWFS probably needs to wait out the original term(terminated early by 6.5 weeks) to expire as the reserve for the MSD's can still be tied up, so a delay of 5+weeks may not be too bad. And if BMWFS...

My views of car purchases are based on utility too, specifically, a pre-paid utility of 10-15 years and 100k-150k miles, with the value of the residual miles decreased with age. From that...

At times when incentives are too much aligned to specific terms(e.g. 3 years), it would be wise to ponder why. For the 12 years of ownership of my old E39, the total cost of ownership for 4...

It depends on what needs to be done. For example, front and rear brake+rotors would be $2k dealer price. Plus 2(or 3) oil changes, micro-filter, brake fluid flush, spark plugs, air filter, and...

The way it was explained to me is that security deposits by definition can be forfeited, so it is unwise to see it as investment(and ROI is moot). For sure BMWFS does not see it as a discount, as it...

As of this evening the 328i and 335i lines(ZSL,ZLL,ZMM) are also unavailable, this looks like a glitch of bwmsua.com.

It seems that, unlike rental security deposits which are regulated by most states, there is no statutory deadline on when to return lease security deposits(at least not in CA). One possible scenario...

There are 1-yr CD's for 1.25%+, plus online savings for 1%+. The way the ROI of MSD's is also somewhat skewed, by tying up cash upfront(which is contrary to zero cash for lease), the interest paid...

Just saw that 320i water pump is 200W vs. 328i's 400W. The article also says both have same brake discs.

video of a F30 320i at Nurburgring

My take is that balance, handling, and performance are important attributes for defensive driving, so between a Corolla and a 328i my choice probably will still be a 328i(50/50, RWD, 250lb-ft).
