Ahhh...us Turbo folks do not have that but I did experience that on my wife's car when I disconnected vent tubing to throttle and car went nuts. Threw MAF errors but once reconnected it was fine.

I avoid Pep Boys like the plague. Spark plugs are very basic. There is probably something loose if you didn't have any issues before (did you?). Hopefully they didn't screw up the oil filter...
