33 Error

My 2000 540 Carsoft 33 Error says Cam control bank 1.

Would that be the passenger side camshaft position sensor or the vanos solenoid causing that error?

Module needs to be re-initialized. I had to do mine after a new windshield install to get the wipers to work correctly! Prism comes on the new glass, module is re-used and mounts on top of the prism.

Not this thread again now that it's getting hot. Just keep the drain tubes open by keeping them clean. New cabin filters and blow them out with some compressed air once in a while!

It's hard to get at unless you remove the whole intake manifold. While you are there you should do the valley pan and upper timing chain cover gaskets if you have near 100,000 on the car

Damn. Thanks. I hope after inspecting the rails with the upper covers off, I don't have to go there. Dropped the oil pan and no plastic bits at 103,000 miles.
